VCA Canada Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre in Lake Country, BC has exciting openings for experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVT) to join our growing team in our Emergency, Surgery, Rehabilitation departments!

MUST have completed OR be in the process of completing a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program
-
Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy
-
Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
-
Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
-
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
-
Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions

Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and our clients

About Us
Located in Lake Country, VCA Canada’s Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre is a growing hybrid and urgent care practice situated in the heart of the beautiful Okanagan Valley, serving the Interior of British Columbia for over 35 years. The hospital houses a bustling general practice, featuring a healthy case load of exotic patients, and expanding specialty services including Surgery, Rehabilitation & Pain Management, Dermatology, and remote Nutrition offering. We are further committed to expanding our ER department to 24/7 services, as well as actively recruiting for Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Radiology.
The hospital is a 16,500 sq ft purpose-built facility with eight exam rooms, spacious treatment floor, well-equipped in-house lab, four ORs, separate Dental suite, Philips Affiniti 70 Ultrasound unit, Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner, and Sound SmartDR+CsI with hands-free capabilities.
Our team is made up of experienced professionals, all dedicated to continuous learning and providing an excellent experience for both our clients and their pets.
