Fulltime or Part-time Registered Veterinary Technicians
We are looking for two full time registered veterinary technicians to join our team of over 30 devoted pet care professionals.
ABOUT YOU:
Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Be able to work in a collaborative manner with your team members.
Have great communication skills and want to share your knowledge with team members and our amazing clients.
Love CE and are willing to continue to learn and expand your knowledge. We are looking for a passionate individual who is willing to evolve their skills and keep up to date with new and current veterinary technology/information.
Be available to work some weekend and holiday shifts during the year.
ABOUT US:
Coastal Rivers Pet Hospital is open 365 days per year and operates with two to five DVM shifts per day. We believe in support staff and currently employ 6 veterinarians, 6 AHTs, 16 veterinary assistants/receptionists.
We believe in our RVT’s and encourage them to use their technical skills and vast knowledge everyday. Technicians work in anesthesia and surgery, administer treatments to hospitalized patients, perform diagnostics for appointments, and assist in dentistry. Our technicians work in a collaborative team of 3 - 6 each day, depending on surgical load and appointments booked.
Our clinic’s accessibility provides our clients with greater patient and appointment flexibility; as a result, we receive an incredibly diverse and dynamic caseload. Located within forty minutes of veterinary emergency and specialist facilities, referral when required is simple. Our facility offers leading-edge diagnostics including HD digital modalities in ultrasound, radiography (regular and dental), and endoscopy. We are fully computerized (Cornerstone) and offer in-house laboratory, physical therapy, underwater treadmill, orthopedic surgery (fracture repair, TPLO, CBLO, FHO and more), PRP therapy and class IV LASER therapy. Furthermore, we are an AAHA accredited practice and hold both Cat-Friendly Practice and Fear Free Practice Certification.
We encourage continuing education for all our staff members, and support our RVTs with CE allowance and paid BCVTA memberships. Our practice also offers flexible medical and dental benefits plans to all employees.
