Speaker:  Jen Burke, RVT, VTS (A&A)

Jen is a graduate from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC, and has over two decades of experience in emergency medicine and anesthesia. She currently works in the ophthalmology department of a 24-hour emergency and referral center in Vancouver. She earned her Veterinary Technician Specialist designation in Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2021 and is an active academy member of the AVTAA, volunteering on several committees. She is passionate about anesthesia, locoregional anesthetic techniques, and hands-free radiology. She loves to lead workshops, lecture and teach new and seasoned technicians.
